Next to the offices in Dortmund and Moscow, a new office opened in 2008 thanks to the increase of turn-over in Barcelona. Jos de Vries The Retail Company has been operating on the Spanish market since years now, with realized projects for Caprabo, Coca Cola, Procter&Gamble and recently Aqui é (one of the candidates being most innovative retail concept of the world at the World Retail Awards) From these 4 offices new retail concepts are being developed thoughout the world. Jos de Vries The Retail Company rewarded for stimulating trade between Russia and The Netherlands

Every year during the celebration of the Russian independence day the Russian ambassador mister Z.E.K.G. Gevorgian the Rus Prix Awards are being handed out.
This award is handed out to persons or corporations who made a great effort to stimulate the Russian and Dutch trade, social and cultural cooperation.

This year Jos de Vries The Retail Company is being awarded with the Rus Prix Award because of the stimulation of the good relationship between Russia and The Netherlands. Many succesfull projects have been created by the Russian office of Jos de Vries The Retail Company in Moscow. Furthermore there is a cooperation with Logitecc, a Russian-Dutch partner focusing on consultancy in strategy, retail, logistics, market research, the development of concepts and “matchmaking” between Dutch and Russian companies.

Next to the succesfull realisation of new retail concepts in Russia, Jos de Vries The Retail Company regularly organizes study trips between both countries. In the beginning of June a study trip for food professionals is being organized visiting the most recent supermarket concepts of The Netherlands.
